I have been skiing since I could walk. I am born in Oslo, Norway and luckily my family spend all weekends and holidays in Hemsedal and introduced me to my biggest passion in life.
I soon realiced that skiing was alot of fun. In the beginning it was charging in the trees that took all my attention. For the first eight years Hemsedal was were I skied every speartime I had from school. Then I started to race and to be able to ski even more the resorts in Oslo became my evening hangout. I travelled Norway around with a bunch of kids training and skiing competitions. I had alot of fun and even if I won most of the comps, went off for skischool and started training for the national team I got tired of it.
When finishing school I decided with some friends to take a season in Chamonix. And here I am, still playing in the mountains as much as I can. I realiced I was’nt tired of skiing at all. To deal with the big mountins its totally different and gave me new motivation. I can always learn more and be a better and more experienced skier.
From that moment on I have been skiing around the world as much as possible.
All the people and experiences on my way have made me realise how much I love it.
The mountain will always give me challenges and excitement of further learning and heightening the level of my skiing.
Winning the Freeride World Tour the two years I have entered, 2009/10 has given me alot of new opportunities. My passion has also become my job and I try to make the most out of it. I am looking forward to many more years with skiing, traveling and meeting even more interesting people. I love what I do and will continue working hard to reach my goals..
Keep on playing, follow dreams, take care of people around and our planet..
