5th
Sitting here in Squaw Valley, California and getting ready to go back to Europe early tomorrow morning. We came here ready to ride the much talked about Tram face for the 2nd stop of the World Tour. A mountain that have never been open for riding and its just next to resort so its pretty cool. I was really looking forward to ride that face but cause of the snow conditions it was not possible the first days. We had our first run in Silverado insteed a much smaller face but still some nice features to play with. My run was not too bad but I did a bad judgement only jumping two times and that put me in 5th for the day only 1,5 points behind Elyse the local girl who also won the tour last year. Not to stoked about that and really pepped up for one more day, specially in the Tram Face. After a few weather days where we expected alot of snow but got the first dumps of rain they decided it was too little time to secure a new place after a meter with fresh on top of the base made by rain so they canceled. Enoying! Really wanted to climb up on the podium..Anyway, it was fun to climb up there to get the "Golden Bib" that I will wear in Tignes for leading the tour so thats cool!
Packing up my bags now and will head out for some sushi before heading to Chamonix for a day an then to Tignes.
