25 of January
YEAH! 2nd place in the first stop of the World Tour. I am stoked!
One more day in Russia before I am heading back. I will upload photos one of the first days, just need internet connection that works more than five min at the time..I have had a great time and it is also snowing in Chamonix where I will ski next, cool!

23 of January
Sunny powder days in Russia. We had our first run on thursday in bluebird and powder. I spottet my line right away and went for it even if it was step. Step is fun! But yeah it was a lot of sluff who made it difficult to spot the exact direction out of the face so I lost some of the fluidity that I planned to have. But I happy I tried and it didn't go too bad in this strong field of girls. I ended 4th after the first run and there is one more to go so I am tightening my bindings and will go for some speed and jumps tomorrow! I am charging the gold tomorrow;)
I wanted to update some pics but with the slow connection we have here i don't have time to fight with the internet too much but further down they are slowly coming into place.

20 of January
Almost ready in Russia after 20 ours of travelling, but there is still some missing pieces- my skibag with everything in..The comp was suppose to start tomorrow, but with the heavy snowfalls we are having its delayed until thursday so far. I am stoked about it cause my stuff could arrive tomorrow night. For tomorrow I borrowed some skis and boots so I can go out snorkling with the rest of the crew:) Cant wait to check out the russian pow!

I am ready for Russia! After hundreds of phone calls, faxes and a half day in Gevena, TGV to Paris i got my Visa! Wow! I got to see Paris again thought, even only for 24 ours..

We need some more snow for powder days in Chamonix but still got many fun days riding this week.
On monday I am off to Sochi, Russia. They say its a lot of snow so that it super cool, always good with good conditions when you wanna look good riding a mountain ;)
I am exited to see everyone again!
I will keep you posted of what's happening in the Krasnaya Polyana in the Western Caucasus area the next week so don't miss out!

Happy new year!

This is the best Christmas I ever had!
Preseason skiing in Chamonix with powder for two weeks. I love riding again and this have been a kickoff start for 2009!
I feel very good, with a lot of training and playing since end of season in May I am ready to give all I have this season. The combination of different activities, such as downhill biking, surfing, climbing and more knowledge about nutrition I feel stronger than ever and are really looking forward to this winter. With my partners in nutrition supplying me with Udo's Choice products I have got more out my training than ever. Thanks guys, love working with you. Check them out in Norway at soma.no
I will play around the Chamonix area for two more weeks, testing out my new Dynastar skis (dynastar.com) and get ready for the comps. The World Tour kickoff will be placed in Sochi, Russia so thats cool. I have been in Russia once before but on the other side of the Caucasus mountains, the Elbrus skiarea, so cant wait to go and have a look. I love going to new places and specially outside the alps and see some different cultures and way of living. Sochi is where the Olympics will take place in 2014 so I guess the they are tuning up the village for the crowds. I have been told that they already have two meters of snow so it looks good for the comp and the riding in general.
