After Russia i went back to Chamonix where it had been snowing since I left. I got some stupid streptokock infection the last days before I was heading back so had to to the antiobiotics and keep the fever down. But with the condiotions we had in the mountains there was no way I could stay in so I was out riding with the boys everyday and it was great! The wind came and the lifts where closed so I could get some days off the mountains and get strong again before the comp in Chamonix.
The morning of the comp, for some reason my alarm never went off..so when I woke up at 0930 I was really stressed about not be in time to ride it. And I also had to decide where to ride before heading up to the start. we where supose to do that the day before but is was so cold so I scipped it..I basicly ran to the mountains cause my car was in the garage and with no brain working when I left I was also running in my warmest down jacket.. I was pissed off and did not feel good at all about doing the comp, but offcourse I hiked up to start and tried to get pepped up. And yeah, what can I say. I did my best comp run ever and it couldn't be a better turnover from how I felt in the morning. Sticking all of my tree cliffs and skiing fast I could climp to the top of the podium downtown Chamonix in the evening. I was so happy and still are, it felt really good to see that I could ski the same way in a comp that I do when I am out riding with the boys. But no more of that kind of stress in the morning!

Hopla! Already February, can't believe it. I am having a great winter so far with a lot of good skiing.
I am back in Chamonix after Russia and there was no time to go lazy. It was snowing here when I was away so the condititions was great. I have had one day of riding in Courmayeur Italy, just on the other side of the Mont Blanc tunnel and three days here in Cham. Perfect, I love it.
I am putting out some pics as often I can, most of them is my snapshots beeing out with friends. I am having great days!

I am sorry I am still a bit behind with uploading pictures. Time is flying and I have no connection at home soo..viva la France ;)
